Case Competition is a 2-round product-based competition modeled off of real world product cases. You’ll find or be paired in teams to compete against not only other NYU students, but also students across a range of established schools! Be inspired by unique pain points, innovative problem solving, and creative presentations.
Case Competition has taught me how to work in teams and to work hard in delivering the product that my team envisioned. It was a great experience I would recommend to anyone looking for some product experience.
I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the NYU Product Management Club's Product Case Competition, which was truly transformative. The competition allowed me to collaborate with talented peers, tackling real-world challenges that tested our creativity and strategic thinking. It was an invaluable experience that helped refine my approach to product management.

Everyone from all backgrounds and years is welcome to apply!
Yes! If you apply individually you will have the opportunity to find your teammate at our mandatory opening session.
If you are not familiar with networking or need help finding a teammate, please email the case competition lead for assistance.

We expect you for both 1st local NYU round and 2nd national round to create a pitch deck to present your solution to our given prompt.
The deck should include your analysis of the problem and approach to the solution, but the actual content and how you present is to your freedom.
1st local round will be at the Pitchbook office by midtown, and the 2nd national round will be on zoom with teams from other schools.
Please read the timeline and instructions provided on this website and application form carefully to schedule your availability. We can work around tardiness, but cannot allow any absence in any of the events, including the opening session.
If you cannot no longer attend, please let the case competition lead know as soon as possible.
